We all know companies that change their name.  I would venture to say most of the time it’s probably to avoid negative press or something along those lines (i.e. Ameriprise).  That’s what makes Catie Foertsch even more special.  I think it’s great when you see businesses evolving for their customers.  Catie took a business she knows and loves, making and editing videos, and she expanded on it.  She did this for her customers.  She listened and learned from the people she was working with that what they needed the most was not necessarily the video itself but rather how to use the video most effectively.  Now I can never tell you about what she does as well as Catie can but what I can tell you is if you have any questions about videos, video marketing or the use of videos in social media, Catie and Yes! In honor of Follow Fridays for all you twitter fans, I am going to write about someone new every Friday on my blog.

I sat down with a woman this week that exuded passion for what she does.  It sometimes seems rare in this day and age that someone not only loves what they do but you can see the passion in their eyes and hear it in their voice.  She is a woman that is a natural entrepreneur.  She’s building her dream from the ground up.  When you meet someone like that you just want to help.  It becomes ‘how can I help?’  Jeanette Mesite Frem’s passion is educating and supporting child bearing families.  Jeanette’s dream is building and expanding Mothers & Company.  She offers some great educational information on her website, Mothers & Company, read her Momma Wisdom blog and read about Jeanette.  If you are starting or expanding your family, stop by her store or contact her.  You will learn a lot that people won’t come out and tell you.  I learned a lot in a short period of time just talking with her.

If you are looking to network online you should meet Nancy Parker.  Nancy has a group that she organizes and runs.  She is constantly looking to help people through this group.  I sat down with Nancy the other day and it was time well spent.  We had one of those conversations that flows naturally with idea bouncing of of each other; be for you know it you look up and an hour and a half has gone by and you’ve got to go.  I look forward to meeting with Nancy again.
