I’ve pretty much taken the last couple weeks off to enjoy the holidays.  It’s been a great time for me to relax, get away from technology(barely) and enjoy the family.  This week will be when I get back to normal posting.  I’ve made sure to continue to do these roundups to give respect to the bloggers that are continuing to create great content through the holidays.

On that note we’ll start with a couple of post about gift cards:

The Economics of Gift Giving from @fcn Seemingly arguing for gift cards, the basis of the argument is in regards to the dead weight loss of Christmas gifts.

How To Get The Most From Your Gift Cards from @danielpacker This post is written from the perspective of you got a gift card now what.  Definite options that must be considered.

Then we’ll continue on to great readings…

It’s More Important to Be Happy Than to Be Rich from @jdroth This is the final installment of a 14-part series, make sure to check out the rest.  Maybe I’m naive but I like to think there’s a balance between money and happiness.  Or maybe that’s what everyone is searching for?

Relationships and Money: Are You Communist, Socialist or Capitalist? from @mymoneyblog A great way to simplify and explain political economics and its affect on your relationship.  Which do you think is best?

Five Foolproof Strategies That Will Ensure You a Better 2010 from @jeremyvoh Great, solid advice.

The Numbers Don’t Lie, But What Do They Mean? from Prosperity On Purpose In intriguing look at technology and it’s role in helping people understand their financial future.  Unfortunately, people might have false hopes on the information provided by free technologies and financial advisers that don’t properly understand the technology.

In honor of 2010, I will leave you with thoughts of Seth Godin:

Don’t miss my appearances this past week:
