This week marked the beginning of a vice of mine. Everyone has them. I’m aware of it so I do my best to contain it. In the long run I don’t think it hurts me too much. Financially, it’s not an expensive vice so it’s worth it for me if I spend a little extra money. Health wise you could definitely argue that it is probably taking a couple years off my life. That’s probably not a good thing to say. I’ll start off this rodeo by welcoming Monopoly at McDonald’s.
How to Win McDonald’s Monopoly Game from @Bargainr Combining two of America’s favorite things can’t be a bad thing, can it?
Would You Rather Be Fat or In Debt from @ManVsDebt This post is worth reading for the comments alone. You ad those to a great post and it’s a definite must read. The average American today is as overweight as ever and as in as much debt as ever.
Your Very Own Retirement Countdown Clock from @RetSav The longer you have the better. Is it time yet to start to review or change your financial situation? There’s no better time than now.
I’m a big fan of keeping an open mind. The truth is sometimes you just need to look at things from a different direction. Or sometimes it’s controversy that gets things going.
Own A Home? You’re On Welfare. from @mytwodollars I’m definitely interested in reading the Time article. It’s amazing, when you think of it, how much government involvement there is in homeownership.
Let’s increase the Home Buyer Tax Credit to $100,000… from @LaneBailey Another great post with great comments and looking at the government involvement with homeownership. Might be a little over the top. What do you think?
Why We Need to Lower the FDIC Deposit Guarantee from @HarvardBiz Is this another example of the government overstepping their bounds? Are banks continually being protected by them?
Ending with the one and only Mark Cuban…
The Cause of Bubbles = Financial Engineering vs Investing from @mcuban This is a post like the man who wrote it…it needs no introduction.
I hope you enjoyed the rodeo. Don’t forget to follow me on twitter and my feed.
