As I read Seth Godin‘s blog post this morning titled “What’s off the table?“ It really builds off of my post from yesterday. Read this blog post. His second to last line is:
“If you’re not willing to consider it, you can bet you’re going to sabotage the thinking that goes into evaluating the choice.”
I would pose some of these questions from a financial perspective. Is it off the table to consider going against the messages conveyed by big businesses(financial firms)? Do you think media articles and ads are driven by helping the general public or paying the bills? Have you looked at who sponsors your favorite show about money? Your favorite magazine? or website?
Do you agree times have changed financially? Economically? Do you think that your ways of finding, keeping and enjoying money need to change?
Can we put an open mind and learning about misinformation on the table? Might that possibly open the doors to financial success?
